TERRAFORM 9, All-in-One Air Conditioner with Single-Duct Automation, 2.6 kW

Currently out of stock
  • All-in-one air conditioner with complete climate control through a single duct – with dynamic AI that regulates the grow environment on its own.
  • One duct is enough to bring cooling, heating or fresh air into the tent. For dehumidifying, it is manually converted to two ducts.
  • Set a target temperature or VPD value (VPD: vapor pressure deficit) – the unit switches automatically between cooling, heating and ventilating.
  • The self-evaporating design automatically routes excess water to the condenser – less frequent draining, less downtime.
  • Compatible with the CONTROLLER AI+ for the WiFi app with advanced automations, data logging, alerts and grow guides.

Product Description

A 5-in-1 air conditioner developed specifically for growers: it regulates temperature, humidity and VPD automatically – for a stable climate all year round.

Through a single duct, the unit switches between cooling, heating and ventilating without manual intervention. A compressor with approx. 2.6 kW delivers the performance, and the self-evaporating design reduces draining. Thanks to its casters, the unit is easy to move; it is suitable for grow tents up to approx. 3.00 × 3.00 m.

  • approx. 2.6 kWCooling capacity
  • 2.1 kWHeating capacity
  • A / A+Energy efficiency cooling / heating
  • R290Refrigerant, GWP 3
  • up to approx. 3 × 3 mGrow tent size

Complete Climate Control

The 5-in-1 air conditioner climatizes through a single duct and uses AI-powered VPD control to regulate the grow environment on its own.

One Duct Is Enough

Setup is as simple as connecting a single duct to the tent. Nothing needs to be converted to switch between cooling and heating; only dehumidifying mode requires a manual change to two ducts.

Next-Gen Compressor

The compressor with approx. 2.6 kW offers high efficiency, quieter operation, smoother speed control and stronger cooling and heating performance.

Drain-Free Operation

The self-evaporating design automatically routes excess water to the compressor. This reduces how often draining is needed and minimizes downtime.

Advanced Controls

Set a target temperature or VPD value – the unit switches automatically between cooling, heating and ventilating. Plus: 10-level PWM control (PWM: pulse-width modulation), automatic restart with memory function and safety shutoff in case of tilting or overheating.

Reliable and Safe

Devices and sensors are connected directly to the controller, which stores all programs locally. This keeps the grow environment at the optimal temperature even during a WiFi outage.

Good to Know

The unit uses the refrigerant R290 (propane), which has a very low global warming potential (GWP 3). Work on the refrigerant circuit only by qualified personnel. In certain operating modes or in climate zones with high humidity, manual draining may be required despite the self-evaporating design. To comply with EU regulations, the rear exhaust fan may continue running at low speed after the compressor switches off; it remains active until the unit is turned off.

AI CONTROL

Operate on the Unit or Automate with CONTROLLER AI+

Target temperature or VPD is set directly on the unit. With the CONTROLLER AI+ (or newer controllers), the unit switches adaptively in real time between cooling, heating and ventilating; this function is not available with the CONTROLLER 69 PRO+ or older models.

On the deviceTarget temperature or VPD, 10 levels, automatic restart, safety shutoff
With CONTROLLER AI+ and appAdaptive AI, advanced automations, data logging, alerts, grow guides
Safety and Warning Information

General Safety Instructions

  • Caution, risk of electric shock: do not tamper with the unit; it contains no user-serviceable parts. Read all instructions before installation and use and keep the manual.
  • The air conditioner becomes hot during operation. Do not touch hot surfaces with bare skin; use the handles, if present, to move it. Keep flammable materials such as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothing and curtains at least 1 m from the front and also away from the sides and back.
  • Exercise particular caution when the unit is operated unattended. Not suitable for persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience unless they are supervised or instructed in its use.
  • Unplug the unit when not in use.
  • Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug or after a malfunction, fall or other damage. Dispose of it or have it inspected or repaired by an authorized service center.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Not intended for bathrooms, laundry rooms or similar indoor spaces. Never place it where it could fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • Do not run cords under carpets, rugs or similar coverings or under furniture or appliances. Route cords so that they do not create a tripping hazard and do not run through walkways.
  • To disconnect from mains power, first turn the controls to OFF and then unplug.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter ventilation or exhaust openings – risk of electric shock, fire or damage to the unit.
  • To avoid a fire hazard, never block air intake and exhaust openings. Do not use on soft surfaces (for example a bed) where openings could be covered.
  • The unit contains hot as well as arcing or sparking parts. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.
  • Use only as described in the manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
  • Always plug directly into a wall outlet. Never use extension cords or power strips.
  • Overheating (hyperthermia) can be fatal. Symptoms include high body temperature, headache, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, dizziness, fainting and rapid pulse. If such symptoms occur, switch off the unit immediately and seek medical help.
  • To avoid excessive room temperatures and the risk of hyperthermia, do not leave the unit running unattended in closed rooms – especially not near infants or persons with reduced capabilities.
  • Make sure no polystyrene or other packaging remains between the elements of the unit; remove them with a vacuum cleaner if necessary. Dispose of packaging and materials in an environmentally friendly manner.
  • Choking hazard: the product may contain small parts. Keep away from children. If swallowed, seek medical help immediately.
  • Before cleaning, storing or when not in use, switch off the unit, unplug it and let it cool down. Clean regularly only as described in the manual; do not use gasoline, thinners, solvents, ammonia or other chemicals.
  • To avoid water leaks, empty the condensate tray before moving the unit (see the “Condensate drain” section in the manual).
  • Do not tip or tilt the unit or lay it on its side or back.
  • Permissible operating temperatures: 17 to 35 °C in cooling mode and 10 to 23 °C in heating mode.
  • Do not use solid-state speed controls such as dimmers. Do not operate on the same circuit as other high-energy appliances, for example vacuum cleaners, blenders, variable-speed fans or circulation pumps.
  • Do not continue operation if no steady flow of cold air comes from the vent after 5 minutes of continuous operation.
  • After switching off, wait until all heating elements and moving parts have come to a complete stop before carrying out maintenance or cleaning.
  • Do not dispose of with household waste – return it to a suitable collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE).

Refrigerant R290 (Propane)

  • A flammable refrigerant is used. Refrigerants may be odorless. Follow all safety precautions; use only the procedures described in the manual for defrosting and cleaning.
  • Store and use the product and all connected lines in a well-ventilated area.
  • Persons who operate or work on the refrigerant circuit require appropriate certification from an accredited organization for handling refrigerants.
  • Refrigerant lines must not be punctured.
  • Dispose of the product properly in accordance with applicable national and local regulations.
  • Do not repair the product yourself. Have all maintenance and repair work carried out only by an authorized technician or electrician.
