Power and Installation

• Connect only to properly installed, grounded outlets that meet the electrical requirements of the product. The electrical installation must comply with local regulations.
• Check local building codes and regulatory requirements before installation. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician or specialist company.
• Do not use damaged cables or plugs. If damaged, disconnect the device from the power supply immediately and have it inspected by a qualified professional.
• Use only original cables and suitable accessories from the manufacturer. Other cables, adapters or hangers may compromise safety.
• Power cables and connections must not be kinked, crushed, run under carpets or covered with fabric. Fire hazard.
• All connections must be secure, correct and safely made before operation.
• Do not rely solely on timers or automatic controls. Unplug the device during extended absences, maintenance or in an emergency.

Mounting, Heat and Light

• The device must be mounted securely and stably. Use only the included or manufacturer-recommended mounting hardware and observe the maximum load capacity of the hanging system.
• Maintain the minimum distance to plants, surfaces and flammable materials as specified in the user manual. The device generates heat – adequate ventilation and air circulation are required.
• Ventilation slots and heat sinks must not be blocked or covered. Risk of overheating.
• When installing in grow tents or closed systems, always ensure adequate ventilation and heat dissipation to prevent overheating and fire hazards.
• Do not cover, obstruct or install the device in enclosed furniture during operation.
• Never look directly into the LEDs while they are on. Very bright light can damage the eyes. Use suitable eye protection when working near the device while it is on.
• Do not drop the device or expose it to strong impacts or vibration.
• Before operation, make sure there are no packaging parts, tools or other objects on or in the device.

Environment and Operation

• Do not place or spill liquids on or near the device. The light is protected against water jets according to IP-65, but it is not waterproof.
• Never use the device in explosive, chemically contaminated, extremely humid or wet environments.
• The device is not intended for outdoor use or use in unprotected environments.
• Do not operate the device unattended, especially not overnight without smoke detectors or fire protection equipment.
• Use the device only for its intended purpose as LED plant lighting in indoor grow applications.
• Do not allow use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities without supervision.
• Keep away from children and pets.

Maintenance, General and Disposal

• Read the complete user manual before installation and operation and keep it for future reference.
• Always unplug the device and let it cool down before cleaning, servicing or modifying it.
• Regularly check for dust buildup, wear and proper function. Dust increases the risk of fire – clean the device carefully when it is switched off and cooled down.
• Never open, repair or electrically modify the device yourself. Repairs or modifications may only be carried out by authorized qualified personnel. Improper interventions may cause electric shock or fire.
• Improper installation or use may result in electric shock, fire, injury or damage.
• Disposal: do not dispose of this product with household waste – return it to a collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE 2012/19/EU).
