We want everyone to be able to use our shop. This page explains how our online shop works, how accessible it is, where limitations remain and whom you can contact.
1. Our service
On acinfinity.eu, GrowTechnology GmbH, Riedstraße 14, 79787 Lauchringen, Germany, sells AC Infinity products and selected accessories to consumers. The shop is available in German, English, Spanish, Italian and Czech. The countries we deliver to are listed in our shipping information.
2. How shopping works
- You can find products through the menu, the search and the filters. Every product page shows the price, description, technical data and availability.
- Use “Add to Cart” to put a product in your cart. In the cart you can change quantities.
- At checkout you order as a guest or with a customer account. You enter your delivery and billing address, choose the shipping method and one of the payment methods shown (for example PayPal, credit card or prepayment by bank transfer) and complete the order. The shop’s button for this is labelled “Order with obligation to pay”.
- After ordering you receive an order confirmation by email.
- How to withdraw from a contract is explained in our right of withdrawal information. You can reach the withdrawal form through “Withdraw from contract here” in the footer of every page and in the checkout.
- If you have questions, our customer service helps you by phone and email (see section 5).
3. How we meet the accessibility requirements
The benchmark is the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and its ordinance (BFSGV). Technically we follow the harmonised standard EN 301 549 and therefore the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.
What is already in place:
- The shop pages of every language version are marked with their language in the page code, so that screen readers read the text correctly. For information and legal pages in English, Spanish, Italian and Czech, this only applies after the page has been reloaded once.
- The pages adapt to the screen size and can also be used on a smartphone.
- The pages are structured with headings. The input fields of the withdrawal form have visible labels.
- Besides the online shop, you can reach us by phone, email and post (see section 5).
Conformance status: our shop is partially accessible. The items listed in section 4 do not yet meet the requirements.
This assessment is based on our own review of 30 September and 1 October 2026: an automated check of selected pages with the axe-core tool, measurements of how the pages build up while loading, and a manual review of texts and labels. On 1 and 2 October 2026, before publication, we checked a new version of the shop front end in a preview, including measurements of how the pages build up while loading, an automated check of the new footer with axe-core and a run through the checkout up to the payment step without placing an order. On 2 October 2026 we re-checked, in the published shop, the items that changed with this version. A full manual review is still to be done, for example of keyboard-only use, use with screen readers and the checkout.
4. Known limitations
- Zoom: on some mobile devices you cannot enlarge the page with two fingers. Until we change this, you can increase the text size in the settings of your browser or device.
- Contrast: some texts do not have enough contrast with their background, for example the red notice with the customer service number and the buttons on the contact page.
- Text alternatives: some images, for example the large image on the home page, have no text alternative.
- Dealer finder: in the dealer finder (footer link “Find A Store”), many input fields have no label that screen readers can read out.
- Language: the cart and the checkout still show some details in German on the other language versions, for example the line stating the VAT included. Some screen-reader labels are in English or German regardless of the selected language, for example for the quantity selector on product pages and for the links to social networks. On category pages some texts, for example the description text, can temporarily appear in another language. Customer reviews are shown in English on all language versions.
- Content moves while loading: on some pages the content jumps shortly after loading. On narrow smartphones the page moves slightly when the red notice with the customer service number appears, and on product pages on a smartphone the area below the product images moves up once when the image gallery has finished loading. In English, Spanish, Italian and Czech, information and legal pages are reloaded once after loading to show the matching language version. Until then, the page contains the German version.
- Third-party content: the map (Google Maps), the dealer finder, the review widget and the manufacturers’ product manuals (PDF) may not be fully accessible. Checkout and payment are provided by our shop platform BigCommerce and the payment providers; we have not yet reviewed their accessibility. If you need a manual or any information in another format, please write to us.
We are fixing these items step by step and will update this page when something changes.
