Battery Disposal Information

As our shipments may contain batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are required under the Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following:

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obligated to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries for proper disposal.

Used batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or your health if not stored or disposed of properly. At the same time, batteries contain valuable raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese, and nickel that can be recycled.

You may return used batteries either by sending them back to us or by disposing of them free of charge at a collection point near you (e.g., retail stores, municipal collection centers, or our shipping warehouse). Returns to retail outlets are limited to quantities normally disposed of by end users and to used batteries that the retailer currently carries or has previously carried in its product range.
